2015 was kinda nuts, and, to be honest, I'm ready for it to be over. But I did take some shots I'm proud of and I want to share them. Hope you dig 'em.

BLACK AND WHITE

KENDRICK LAMAR

Shooting Kendrick was one of the coolest opportunities I've had. He puts on such an incredible show. I'm so happy he has 11 Grammy nominations, dude deserves it and more.

J COLE

I think we can all agree J Cole was one of the best artists of 2015. This was taken at Soundset in Minnesota. I drove 8 hours and was in the rain the whole day. I'm still pinching myself at the fact that I was able to see and shoot him.

CROSSFAITH

All I have to say is, damn. I went into Warped not knowing who Crossfaith was, but I knew I had to catch their set. Best decision ever. Best dudes ever.

BEING AS AN OCEAN

BAAO is so insane on stage and I was surprised to not see many photogs in the pit. Probably my favorite band on Warped.

CROSS ME

I didn't die while shooting them, and I liked the photos I took from their set. My body is still in pain though.

PANIC! AT THE DISCO

Brendon Urie is so goddamn talented. I know this is an unusual photo and you can't see his face, but he's dancing and I really dig it.

ED SHEERAN

Again, truly lucky to have shot this fella in Milwaukee. I lost all the photos from this festival which still breaks my heart, but luckily had this on my computer. Incredible show + human.

DANCE GAVIN DANCE

Silhouettes are life. I saw so many friends here and it made so happy, plus the bands were amazing.

THIRD EYE BLIND

This show was just, phenomenal. All the bands allowed photogs to stay for the full sets although I did leave after I had enough shots. Still, I truly respect and appreciate people who respect what we do.

CITIZEN

Citizen is a hard band to shoot in my opinion. They don't always move a lot and they keep their sets very intimate, so I took advantage of Warped to try and get some shots and was pretty content with this.

COLOR

DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL

I remember when Chris tripped and noticed that I was the only one who saw, so he said "shhh" and we laughed. Then he walked to his piano and continued laughing. Amazing performer, humble human, great music. Can't say enough good things.

NO DOUBT

It's Gwen Stefani, No Doubt, Riot Fest all at once.

THE ACADEMY IS...

Great show with great company. What a band.

KNUCKLE PUCK

It wouldn't be fair to not include one of my favorite bands on here. I skipped shooting Snoop Dog (who was late anyways) and went to see a pop punk show. Totally worth it. Plus I shared the pit will many pals and that's always nice.

CYMBALS EAT GUITARS

I rarely use my 50mm at shows because I don't like how my cropped photos look (I suck at working with it). But I've been making it a priority to shoot at least one song with it, and I have improved. Here's to continue learning.

LIGHTS

I had never seen Lights prior to this, but she was the cover artist of Focus in the beginning of the year. I was so stoked to shoot her and acted like such a kid for the rest of the show. No ragrets.

THE WONDER YEARS

lol @ this day. It sucked and the only thing that got me through it was the fact that I was going to see one of my favorite bands of all time with some of my favorite humans.

THE MAINE

I love The Maine and I saw them around 4 times this year, it still wasn't enough. I'm seriously considering following them around on their next tour. I could listen and watch them for the rest of my life and I'd be the happiest person.

CROSSFAITH

Even though this isn't a live shot, it's one of my favorite photos of the year. Crossfaith was kind enough to let me shoot their warm-ups in Milwaukee after Ken saw my Chicago photos of them, and I'm forever grateful. I didn't know how much I needed this boost at the time, but it was an incredible experience.  They're some of the kindest humans.

I PREVAIL

These dudes, where do I even begin? I got to follow them around for a Day in the Life feature for Focus and the whole day was a blast. They're such kind humans, and they keep it real with everyone. This day really opened my eyes and made me want to tour even more. Unforgettable experience.

HONORABLE MENTIONS BECAUSE I SUCK AT CHOOSING
